Energy - Low Voltage

The lifetime of low voltage energy cables can be greatly increased by protecting the cable against damage from water ingress.  A number of major European power utilities use cables protected with Geca water blocking yarns for their low voltage power network and the results to date are excellent. 

In the case of the cable design above, water blocking yarns are placed between and around the major cable elements providing excellent longitudinal water tightness.
