Quality Assurance & Quality Control

The Geca Tapes, B.V. facilities have been registered to the quality systems requirements of ISO-9001 since 1996. At present, the company is registered to the year 2000 version of ISO-9001. BVQI performed the original assessment and all follow-up assessments and will continue to do so in the future. More importantly, the Geca Tapes quality control system uses proven statistical process control (SPC) and statistical quality control (SQC) methods to assure consistent product quality.

The Geca Tapes quality control laboratory includes a complete set of in-house test equipment. The equipment measures all characteristics needed to predict the performance of Geca Tapes materials in a broad variety of cables. Testing at  Geca Tapes, B.V. complies fully with all relevant IEC, ISO, EN, BS, EIA/TIA, Edana, BIFSA and other international standards.
